Student Evaluation
The language of instruction and preparation of the thesis is Greek or English.
Postgraduate students must have been promoted in all courses in order to be allowed to write a Thesis.
The thesis is prepared during the third semester of studies for students in the full-time program and the third and sixth semesters of studies for students in the part-time program.
Evaluation method:
In order for the thesis to be approved, the postgraduate student must defend it before a Three-Member Examination Committee.
The examination is held before the examination committee, is public, and concludes with the grading of the thesis on a numerical ten-point scale. The examination committee may request that interventions be made to the text. In this case, it also sets the deadline for the delivery of the revised copy, a maximum of 4 weeks.
Completion deadline:
The deadline for completion and submission of the thesis is November 30. In exceptional cases and for reasons of health or force majeure, the S.E., upon a relevant request from the interested student and the consent of the supervising professor, may grant an extension or extensions of the duration of the preparation of his thesis as follows: Until the end of December (1st extension), with a written certificate from the supervising professor, without penalty. Until the end of March (2nd extension), with a penalty of 100 euros and a maximum graduation grade of nine (9). Until the end of June (3rd extension), with a penalty of 150 euros and a maximum graduation grade of eight (8). A student who is unable to submit his/her thesis by the fourth (4th) extension is not entitled to the Postgraduate Diploma (MPD).
